In His Arms by Akita Alexander


There was a time I was

afraid to share my

happiness

For fear that tomorrow,

it will cause the skies

to come tumbling down

again

Or for want to avoid

trivializing my pains

etched in yesterday's

past,

But I'm learning that

it's okay to breathe and

it's okay to enjoy the

breeze

Because even if the

storms do come, I rest

assured, the sun will

shine again.
