A Gift of Light by Wehiba Zebidi
In the hush
between midwinter nights
and the first breath of newborn light,
something ancient returns
arriving gently,
carried by grace,
soft enough
to be felt
before it is understood.
Here, time loosens its grip,
and meaning remembers itself.
A quiet awakening unfolds,
where the soul finally exhales
what it has carried
for far too long.
Tonight,
the universe speaks in openness.
It meets the heart
that is ready to receive
what was written for it
before words learned their names.
Light descends quietly,
settling into the body,
resting behind the eyes,
finding its home
inside the chest
where truth breathes easily.
This is the gift
the gentle stirring within,
the unseen awakening,
a certainty without urgency,
a trust that deepens,
a knowing
that needs no explanation.
May this season
gather what was scattered,
restore forgotten rhythms,
and soften the places
where hope learned to whisper.
May it remind us
that light has always been near
patient,
attentive,
waiting
for the moment
we remember
how to receive.
My intention in sharing this work is simple to offer readers a moment of stillness, warmth, and inner light during the season of renewal.
