You are God's masterpiece... here's why (+ spoken word poem)

I wrote this encouraging poem some time ago for an online Christian blog called Davilanda. Here, I brought it to life in this spoken word poetry video. Enjoy!

You Are

You are a vessel

His very own. Masterpiece

Piece of art

You are

Crafted, sculptured

Not set in stone

But evolving…

You are

Evolving

Every day into more of His own

See how His careful hand holds you

It moulds you

To perfect this very vessel

You are

All of His.

So rest,

Rest in this.

In the midst of it all, I hope you remember just how precious you are. How worthy and valuable you have always been. The thoughts that God has about you are more beautiful than you can imagine. You are His very own masterpiece. And here's why...
